Users can now toggle which meal types (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack)
are displayed in the meal planner via a new Settings section. Preference
is stored household-wide in sync_config and applied as a filter on the
meals page. Includes preferences API, i18n (DE/EN/IT), and Settings UI.

Audit identifies redundancies with CONTRIBUTING.md, missing paths
(utils/ux.js, locales/, offline.html), incorrect info (node:20 vs 22,
non-existent public/assets/), and informational sections that don't
steer behavior. Proposed version reduces to 82 lines with clear hard
constraints block and reference document table.

Replace old screenshots with new mobile/tablet variants in light and dark
mode. README now uses <picture> elements with prefers-color-scheme so
screenshots automatically match the viewer's GitHub theme. Split manifest
icon purpose field into separate "any" and "maskable" entries per PWA spec.
